Homework 27.09.13

on September 29, 2013

Hi.  Firstly, I would like to say a big well done to our Stars of the Week; Dylan, Louis and Handwriting Star, James.  Keep up the good work.

This weeks homework is as follows:

English – Write a short report about one of your hobbies.  Your report must be informative, teach me something that I don’t know! It should include descriptive language and be organised into paragraphs.  It could also include technical vocabulary.

Maths – In maths this week we have been looking at units of measurement and converting measurements.  Triangles and Squares, you need to measure lines accurately using mm. then convert the measurement to cm and mm, then convert it to cm.  An example of this is: If a line measures 54mm = 5cm 4mm = 5.4 cm.

Pentagons, you are converting litres to millilitres. Remember 1000ml = 1l. An example of this is 3.4l=3400ml.

Spellings this week focus on words ending in “le”
