Lost and Found Week

on February 28, 2014

Next week is going to be great fun, to celebrate World Book Day we are having a whole week focusing on the works of Oliver Jeffers, author of Lost and Found and lots more!  Therefore your homework this week is to research the author ready to share the information you find out on Wednesday.  If you have any books written by Jeffers you would like to share, please bring them in but don’t forget to write your name in them.  All homework is due back on Wednesday 5th March.

Maths homework – Think about the different strategies we have used this week to do addition and subtraction, Is it best to take away or count on?  Can you use multiples of 10,100 or 1000 to help you?

Spellings – I have mixed up the spelling groups a bit so everyone should know which new group they are in.  This week we are looking at how to spell words with a negative prefix. Remember to learn the root word too!  Think about the rules we discussed.

I hope you all have a great weekend, See you Monday.
