Homework

Hi everyone, Well done for another great week. Just a quick reminder that we now have swimming every Friday so please try really hard to remember your kit. A big thank you to Mrs Turner who phoned lots of parents this week so that everyone could go swimming!

Here is the homework for the week, please bring in your homework by Wednesday.

Maths: Have a go at solving these mathematical problems. Remember to read the information carefully and think about what type of calculation you need to do. Ask yourself what you know already and think how that can help you find out what you don’t know!! Don’t worry if you don’t find the solution straight away, record your ideas and show your workings.

English: This week we have been looking at stories from other cultures. The story of Rama and Sita is an Indian traditional tale which has been passed down through generations. Please use the prompt sheet to write a review of the story. There is a link to the story on our Class Blog, look for the new page.

Reading: Please continue to read as often as possible and record your comments in your reading diary.
Spellings: This week we will look at silent sounds in words starting with Kn and Wr
