In Maths this week we have been learning our times tables, looking at patterns and related number facts. For homework please learn the square numbers from 1×1 to 12 x 12.

English – Please write some dialogue sentences using the pictures to help you. Remember all the punctuation you need to include and start a new line if someone new starts to talk.

Spellings this week look at the double consonants in two syllable words.

Finally, please read to an adult at least 3 times each week and record this in your reading diary.

Homework, due back 11-03-15

The weeks are speeding by but we have managed to pack in a lot of hard work this week, well done everyone, especially for your fantastic fancy dress costumes on Thursday.

In Maths this week Y3 have been looking at what happens when we multiply and divide by 10 and 100. Y4 have learnt how to add and subtract tenths. Complete the work sheets for homework, Y4 race against the clock and record your time.

English – We have had great fun reading the well-loved story ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ by Roald Dahl. For homework, please write a book review about the book and try and support your opinion with evidence from the story.
