Another fantastic week Horse Chestnuts, We are so impressed with the effort you are putting in for our summer play now you need to start thinking about your costumes. Please continue to learn your lines and the songs!
Next Wednesday we are all taking part in a cricket tournament so don’t forget to practise your bowling skills this weekend.
English – Think about how we spell singular words and their plurals. Look for patterns and exceptions to the rule. Learn what happens when words end in o.
We had a fantastic time at @Bristol on Monday! The whole class were on top form, behaving beautifully and showing great scientific knowledge in their electricity workshop. Everyone enjoyed the different science activities – especially the virtual volleyball, giant bubbles, animation station and food zone. Well done Horse Chestnuts, you were brilliant!
Welcome back Horse Chestnuts, I hope you all had a fab half term and are ready for an action packed half term! Homework for this week is as follows:
English: Please revise your alphabet and use this to organise words into alphabetical order.
Maths: This week we have been ordering numbers, rounding numbers and looking at place value in decimal numbers. Please complete your worksheet practising these skills.
Spellings this week are all compound words, 2 words joined together to make a new word.
Have a great weekend and don’t forget our trip is on Monday so bring a packed lunch.
